Oh, Mason Jars...how I love you so! If you know me, you know I absolutely ADORE them! Jars in general! Behold, I give you all of the ways I've used mason jars. (and recycled jars, too!)
I absolutely LOVE using mason jars when I style parties. A little baker's twine, some doilies, and you have a sweet, whimsical vase!
Use a mason jar as a shabby chic flatware holder. Group it with other jars with some tags and candy to maximize the sweet effect! :)
Attach a thank you tag and fill them with some organic honey for a cute "Pooh" or "Bee" themed shower for a delightful favor.
Use a cute piece of fabric to accent a shower or party theme for jarred favors such as this Homemade Body Scrub.
I love using them in my home, as well! Add some fresh flowers to a vintage Mason Jar and you have a lovely accent to any table.
Use them at your desk to hold supplies and pens!
Have some fun with the kids and paint some jars for some seasonal decor!
Recycle some jars and fill them with baking supplies or dry pantry foods for a pretty storage option especially if you have open shelving.
I must say though, that my FAVORITE way to use a jar is to fill it with sweets and goodies! :) What a unique and wonderful way to serve desserts at a family gathering, right!?
Sometimes, however, the best way is the simplest. ;) Fill a jar with some good old fashioned homemade raspberry lemonade, add a paper straw and enjoy a lazy, sunny, afternoon with a good book!
Hope you enjoyed my "Ode to Mason Jars"! :)
