Hey y'all! Today, I am participating in an AWESOME challenge!
In
a separate bowl, mix dry ingredients with a fork. Set aside.
Cream the butter, sugar (both types), and vanilla in a mixer on Medium.
Yup. That's a big button. That's how we do it, though. Go Big or Go HOME! Right, Jen?! :)
So here's my recipe. By recipe I mean, "what all I threw into this cookie to make it ridiculously sinful and a Peanut Butter contender", for this awesome challenge!
Behold, The Peanut Butter Delight Cookie. Yes, that's my name for it and I'm sticking by it. :)
I started with this chocolate chip cookie base, and to it I added the following:
Oh and I also added this:
Yup. It was decadent. Delicious. Sinful...I could go on but for now I'll give you the real deal recipe and method, so that y'all can see that it's not just all "fun and crazy pics" up in here! hehe
Ingredients:
2 Cups Organic Unbleached All Purpose flour
1tsp Organic Baking Powder
1tsp Salt
2 sticks of butter (1cup) softened at room temp
3/4 cups or slightly less organic RAW sugar
3/4 cups organic Light brown sugar (yes, LIGHT)
2tsp Organic Pure Vanilla Extract
2 Organic Brown Cage-Free Large Eggs (farm fresh is best!)
2 Cups Chocolate Chips
2tbsp Peanut Butter
4tbsp Nutella
1 Cup Pecans
3Tbsp Homemade Caramel Sauce
2 Cups Chocolate Chips
2tbsp Peanut Butter
4tbsp Nutella
1 Cup Pecans
3Tbsp Homemade Caramel Sauce
Method:
(Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.)
Cream the butter, sugar (both types), and vanilla in a mixer on Medium.
Next, add one egg at a time, mixing on Low until they are both added in.
Then a little bit at a time, add in the flour, salt, and baking powder mixture to the wet ingredients until it's all mixed in. Remove from mixer. Add the chocolate chips, Peanut Butter, Nutella, Pecans and Caramel Sauce. Stir it all in with a spatula. Drop tablespoons of batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 375 degrees F for 11-13 minutes depending on how chewy you want your cookie to be. (Also, please take into consideration altitude and individual oven.)
ENJOY!
