Hi guys! Thank you so much for your sweet comments on my last Vlog post! :) They all meant the world to me! Since that post was a bit on the somber side, I decided my next post should be sunny and light! It is, after all, SUMMER! :)
So, here is my recipe for a Peach Daquiri!
Ingredients:
(makes one serving)
1 small quartered unpeeled peach
(Roughly) 3 quarters frozen peach slices
1 1/2oz (1 and half shots) Rum (I prefer dark rum, but traditionally, these are made with light rum)
The juice of a half of a lime
2tsp sugar (though my peaches were REALLY sweet and ripe, so I cut this to 1tsp)
A pinch of salt (Yes, you read that right. EVERYTHING, even sweet drinks, should be seasoned well.)
1/4 cup cold water or 1/2 cup crushed ice
Method:
In a blender, combine and process well until thoroughly mixed, or about 10 seconds. Garnish with a peach slice and/or Mint leaf.
However, here's how I make and serve mine...
::sigh:: I DESPERATELY need to take off that nail polish and perhaps get a manicure! |

True story: These Pottery Barn glasses were $0.50 each at my local thrift store, and they were BRAND NEW! |
However, here's how I make and serve mine...
Did you know that a Pint or Quart sized mason jar (regular not wide-mouthed) will fit on most blender mechanisms? I use my mason jars daily for smoothies on the go, and of course, blended cocktails! I HATE washing extra dishes! :) Enjoy!
