I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your families!
I know you guys all know I have a great love for the company Cutting Edge Stencils and especially for the two owners, Janna and Greg! They were awesome enough to give me and some other Hometalkers a really fun tour of their headquarters a couple of years ago!
Well, they've done it again! They have created yet ANOTHER awesome product! I am TRULY in love with it. I got to try out one of their awesome new Paint a Pillow kits. The best part was how easily my daughter and I created such wonderfully beautiful pillows! She had a blast rolling the paint onto the stencil and fabric. The kit makes it super easy and very difficult to mess up. It even has brackets for the stencil to hold it in place.
It all comes in one kit for you. You can order accessories, even a rhinestone heat gun right on their website!
After you remove the stencil, you end with an awesome pillow case. I did both sides and the stencil I used is called the Charlotte stencil which happens to be one of my favorites from them. Shabby chic lace and doilies just do it for me.
Once the paint dried, I added the rhinestones, which are also available to purchase on their site. I did this part since the heat gun gets VERY hot and I didn't want my daughter to get burned, but an older child, or teen, would have no problem with it.
