A Minnie Mouse Party

:) Hello! It's DAY 2 of Minnie Week!  Yay!

Yesterday, I  shared my Minnie Wreath Tutorial.  Today, I will share some party details and my sweets table!

Oreo Minnie Tutorial tomorrow!

The cake was a three layer 6in round "mini" Minnie Cake.  It was my daughter's favorite flavor: Devil's Food cake, with strawberries and cream filling, covered in cream cheese butter cream frosting.  Yes.  It was decadent.  She loved every minute of it!

Details are everything.  These bags were $0.94 each.  We fancied them up with a cute printable tag and some scrapbook paper!  The fabric-lined baskets were from The Dollar Tree.

This vintage apothecary jar was a thrifted treasure for, you guessed it, ONE DOLLAR! :)  I filled jars with red candies and goodies for the girls to enjoy.  Again, I attached some cute printables and scrapbook paper, as well as some ribbon.  It adds some charm to the sweets table when you have jars filled with candy!

Craft Tutorial on Thursday!

The girls did a quick and easy craft.  Total cost of this sweet "swag bag" that they each got to take home?  Only a little over a dollar per child.  Yes.  That is right.  Thank goodness, too because there were quite a few kids present!

Cherry raspberry lemonade was served in mason jars with grey and white paper straws.

The cupcakes were also topped with Minnie Oreos!   $1 Mickey and Minnie bubbles were given out as prizes for my special "Find the Hidden Minnies/Mickeys game".

Finally, my sweets table was both simple and playful!  Some white cake stands and plates held the cookies and my homemade cake pop stands held up the darling cake pops! (Cake pops and cookies by my good friend Dawn!)

I hope you are enjoying Minnie week so far!  I had a blast planning and preparing for this party!  I hope you hop in again tomorrow for MORE Minnie fun!

xoxo,
Evey
